There are many people who want to earn a full or part-time income from the comfort of their home!  How about you?  Would you like to work when you want and where you want?  Whether you are a full time RVer or live in a fixed dwelling, everyone would like to avoid daily commuting and the stresses of a J.O.B.!

So, the question becomes how long does it take to make money blogging?  Akin to that question would also be some of these:

• How long does it take for you to earn money affiliate marketing?
• How long does it take to rank in Google?
• How long does it take for you to make money online?
• How long does it take to build some site trust?
• How long does it usually take to get some organic website traffic?
• How long will it take for your website to start working?

The answer to these questions will be proportional to the effort you put forth and the knowledge you have in these areas!  Can someone with no website knowledge start a blog and make money right away?  The answer is usually no!  There is just too much to know about these things for the amateur to handle!

Does that mean it can’t be done?  Of course not!  If you are prepared to find a credible source to teach you how to create a niche website that is of interest to you, learn how to effectively write content for that website, and how to monetize the website, then yes, a newbie can get started and eventually start making money blogging.

Do you have to spend money to make money?

No, you don’t, but you will not have as much control over your new business!  And yes, I said a business.  Creating a niche website and developing online activities is a business, and as such, you should treat it like one.  When you use free website services you will not have the control you will need for your business to fully monetize the website.  But, free services can get you started!

When you purchase a website domain and host it at a location of your choosing you will have complete control of your online business.  How much will that cost?  You can get domain names for less than $20 and you can host your website for around $100 dollars a year.  This figure could be more or less depending on where you choose to host your website.

Do you need to know how to create a website?

Absolutely not, but you will have to be willing to learn!  Not knowing how to do this should not stop you from wanting to.  It is so much easier than it used to be to set up websites.  I remember when I had to use HTML language to create simple websites. Now, it’s more like using a Word program.  Just type, insert images and links, and post!

There are many tools I use on my website and they are all automated.  This being said I am not telling you it is going to be super easy.  But, if you have a good resource then you will never be without the tools you need to get it done!

Being a free website creator it will lack a lot of advanced features but it will get you started for free!  Your free website can always be transferred to your own .com website URL at a later date.

How long does it take to make money blogging?

That will depend a lot on you!  This is different for everyone!  Some people can crack the code in a week and others can take a year.  It is so dependent on you and the niche that you choose for your website.  Some people choose to have multiple websites to broaden their reach.  But that is like trying to run two new businesses at once.  I recommend starting with one and learning from that.  Once you are familiar with the process it is much easier to do it again.

What makes a website successful is quality content!  You have to be able to keep your readers engaged long enough to help them with what you are sharing.  Some people find this easy to do.  Others have a harder time expressing themselves verbally.

It is not that difficult.  It really is about writing naturally and not letting your doubts get in the way.  Fortunately, there are options that you can run in the background of your website browser that will help correct spelling and grammar errors as you go.  I use Grammarly, the paid version, but there is a free version you can get started with.  Once you are publishing a lot of content you can switch to the paid version for extra help.

I started to make consistent income from my website after six months.  Since then my website has made money, and it continues to grow each month with multiple income streams.  I have been working my online business for four years.  It provides an additional source of income each month!

How much will I make?

You may not believe me, but you can make as much as you want!  The question is how hard do you want to work and how willing are you to learn?  Not only that but how quickly do you learn?

What about the fact that E-commerce sales continue to grow each and every year!  The mobile platform is still in its infancy and as that continues to grow, so does E-commerce sales.  At last count, there are still over 100 million people who are not yet shopping online, and that will change!

How do I make money from my website?

First off, you have to find something you are passionate and knowledgeable about! That way creating a website and writing quality content will be easier.  Once that is accomplished you can offer anything related to your website from companies that have affiliate programs.  There is also stuff you can promote on Amazon.  You don’t always have to promote a product, you can also promote a service.

I find it easier to promote products I use and believe in.  It is easier to talk about them because of my personal experience.  It does not always have to be that way but at first, it makes things easier.  There are also digital products that you can promote.  There are a lot of options that you can choose.  There is training that is available that will outline all the things you need to know.

How do I get people to visit my website?

This is the key to being successful and answering the question how long does it take to make money blogging?  How do you find things on the internet?  You probably use a search engine and enter what are called keywords and up pops a page of results, basically, websites that are chosen to match your search criteria.

The goal for you is to be on page one of those search results for your chosen niche!   How do you get to page one you ask?  You create a website and fill it with high-quality content that engages your visitors.  You want them to leave comments that you are able to respond to.  Your rankings will depend a lot on how many people visit your website, leave comments, talk about the website, and link to your website.

So, once you have an engaging website that ranks well in Google, for example, then that is how you get people to your website.  I know when I am searching for something and enter a phrase in Google and up pops the first page of results, that is usually as far as I look.  I may go to page two or three, but not very often.  I usually find what I am looking for on page one of the search results.

This seems like a lot of work!

Yes, it is!  If you are looking for the quick and easy method of making cash online, this is not it!  There are plenty of scams out there you can try that promise quick bucks for very little work: “make money while you sleep, make hundreds of dollars an hour with our easy cash system”, etc.

Building a business from the ground up is hard work!  It will take some time to learn what you need to know to get your website going and ranking in the search engines.  If you do not want to work then you will not be successful as a blogger who wants to make money from a website.

Sure, there may be some quick bucks from some $39.95 internet system you find online, but they will be short-lived and never produce a long-term income.  I suggest you educate yourself and think about building a real online business that will eventually create the kind of income you desire, whatever amount that may be!

Sure, that’s a valid question!  I am a skeptic too when it comes to online offers.  But I will say this!  I offer lots of free information on my website!  I don’t ask for money, and I don’t recommend anything I don’t believe in myself!  I don’t affiliate myself with companies that have not performed as they said they would but only those that have offered value and service.
